BACKGROUND ON THE MAD SCIENTIST BALL

What

Originally founded in 2004 by Fort Worth community leader Carter Martin, this is the sixth annual Mad Scientist Ball, driven by a volunteer committee of community and business leaders.

The Mad Scientist Ball is the primary annual fund raising event benefiting the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History’s ongoing educational programs.  “Expect the unexpected” has become the underlying idea behind the party, which has made it one of the most popular, sold-out events in Fort Worth.

After a two-year hiatus to the Fort Worth Convention Center Arena, this will be the Museum’s first Mad Scientist Ball in its spectacular, much anticipated new Legorreta+Legorreta designed building.
