All parking lots in the Cultural District are owned by the City of Fort Worth and managed by Trail Drive Management Corp. The Museum is not responsible for parking costs associated with these lots. On busy days, some lots will fill early.

MEMBERS

Members may receive a discounted daytime parking voucher for use at any paid Cultural District lot, on a space available basis. Discounted parking voucher only available during Museum visits and may be obtained upon check in at the ticketing counter.

Discounted member parking is on a first-come, first-served basis and is not guaranteed. Not applicable during the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

GENERAL GUESTS

General guests may use any paid lot in the Cultural District at their own expense. Payment for parking using a credit card is encouraged.

PUBLIC TRANSIT

The Museum is accessible via Trinity Metro. From downtown, ride Route 2 or the DASH. Both routes are accessible from DFW Airport using TEXRail or Dallas using the TRE (no Sunday service).

ENTRY

Please use the main entrance on Gendy Street for entry. The Omni entrance is closed. Guests parking in the Lansford Parking Garage will need to walk to the main entrance on Gendy Street.

Shop Too! is open daily during regular Museum hours. Grab a souvenir from your visit or something to keep on exploring at home!

Members get 10% off at the Museum gift shop with your museum membership.

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History welcomes all guests and is wheelchair and handicap accessible. A limited number of wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis for guests to check out at the Lantern Box Office.

Limited handicap parking is available in the Will Rogers Lot east of the Museum and in the National Cowgirl Museum lot south of the Museum.

We welcome to guests of all needs to visit the museum!

THE CALMING ROOM

The Calming Room is a space for those with sensory needs to relax and re-center during their visit. We encourage guests to bring whatever they may need into the space, such as fidget toys, headphones, etc.

The Calming Room may only be used by one family at a time. We ask that guests please respect the space and use the Calming Room only for its intended purpose.

SENSORY BACKPACKS

Sensory backpacks include several items that may help guests with sensory needs enjoy their visit to the museum. Backpacks are first come, first served and are available for guests to check out at the ticket counter.

SENSORY SATURDAY

Sensory Saturday is a free opportunity for families of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities to explore the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History in a safe, understanding environment. Learn More About Sensory Saturday
